Layered Chic

January 11, 2007 at 2:54 am (Business Attire, Cards, Casual, Melissa)

Layer a sleek top with luxurious quilted jacket add a sexy mini jean skirt and what do you have?  Why a non-stop high fashion outfit that takes you from “casual Friday” to “dinner and a movie” while turning heads the whole way through!  Stunning.

Aunt Chirssy, the jacket is from the paper pack I got for my birthday!  The were a bunch of great emobssed papers in there thank you!  I’ve been snipping away the last week or so, but I just decided to do one big post.  I love seeing all these new ideas thanks to more bloggers!  Keep it up ladies.  Love Mel.

Asian Flare

January 10, 2007 at 1:48 am (Cards, Casual, Classy, Mom, Paper fashions)

This stunning outfit will catch the eye of many with its bold red, gold and black color scheme.  The pants, embellished with a gold embroidered design, are not overdone.  The design in the pants corresponds to the yoke on the tunic. The brocade shoes will go with many different outfits.  The purse’s striped pattern on the flap is a good match to the cuffs on the sleeves.

Train Trendy

January 3, 2007 at 1:17 am (Activewear, Aunt Chris, Casual, Paper fashions)

Do you ever have to go to a model railroad convention? Or do you know someone special who is interested in trains? Have you longed for an outfit that would make you fit right in? Well Train Trendy is the outfit for you. The top is made in a diagonal knit with a green variegated wavy print to represent rolling hills. The black embroidery suggests a railroad track while remaining graphically pleasing to the eye. For the casual nature of a train show the top is shown with jean capris with red stitching. Notice the wedges … the band is also embroidered with railroad cute! No ensemble would be complete without a purse. Train Trendy’s purse is in matching green fabric and jean material. To top it all off Train Trendy has a railroad cap trimmed in red embroidery to match the jeans and the band picks up the green print fabric in the top.

Relieve the sixties with these faboulus outfits – mod is always fresh, but not for the mousy or shy.

Autumn Leaves are Falling

November 2, 2006 at 1:15 am (Business Attire, Casual, Michelle)

And here’s an outfit to match … notice the pretty leather belt, compliments of the trim care package I got in the mail today! I also incorporated some Via Rail Puke Bag, as the background to the skirt, just to make you jealous.

This outfit is perfect for playing in the fall leaves, with boots that are far more rugged than they might first appear! The hat adds both to the effect, and the warmth, of the outfit.

East Meets West

October 30, 2006 at 10:39 am (Cards, Casual, Michelle)

Here’s a truly global outfit, an eastern inspired halter with a jean skirt. Perfect for showing off how worldly, and yet grounded, you are.

The problem with paper crafting is that suddenly you’re saving everything – this card is made out of an old date box. The neat little band on the bottom keeps it shut, and it opens up kind of like a tri-fold brochure. It also smells of dates, everyone’s favourite high-fibre health food.

Hop in your car on on the bus and head out for Saturday errands.  No one will accuse you of looking frumpy “when you’re just getting grocheries” in this cute girly top.

Spring Shopping

October 17, 2006 at 10:26 pm (Casual, Michelle)

Seems as though today all I really wanted to do was go shopping, so I made two shopping outfits, one for fall and one for spring. This is a spring shopping outfit – with a nice large bag for all those sales! The sneakers are good for beating other people to the sales – wouldn’t want anyone else to buy your stuff, now would you? 🙂
