Elegant Afternoon Wedding

November 15, 2007 at 2:14 pm (Cards, Classy, Formal, Melissa, Paper fashions, Semi-Formal)

Stylish and relaxed. The perfect dress for an elegant west coast afternoon ceremony. The delicate overlay and underlay of the sensuous silk chiffon create a beautiful flowing and soft dress for today’s modern yet romantic bride. The clean lines and elegant silhouette are Hepburnesque giving the bride timeless appeal. She will look as radiant and stylish today as she will when she wears this at her 50th wedding anniversary – truly a treasure.

Signs of Spring

Lovely in lavender!  This dainty and simply feminine outfit will bring a cheery spring lightness to any event whether it’s cold outside or the blazing heat of summer.  The flowing patterned skirt is nicely complimented by the lavender blouse, which is anything but boring with trim emblisments!

Wear this ensemble to your next African History Conference. You can present your paper with the jacket on and then remove the jacket to reveal a halter dress for the evening semi formal. The ensemble is fashioned with the flag of Tanzania which will delight all those African affecianados. The outfit and shoes are in high quality FAUX lepoard. The hat will protect you from the hot African sun. When you finish your conference you can cross the Sarengeti plain and climb Mt. Kilamenjaro and you can take your pet giraffe with you.

Country Garden

By Melissa

This co-ordinated outfit takes you to a dressy garden party in the country, a spring wedding shower, or church on Sunday.  Take some shade under a blossoming tree to be sure you don’t get sunburned, and enjoy the homemade lemonade, ahhhh.

Some Hints

I downloaded the upper pink print as printable origami paper, here are some links:

Printable dollhouse wallpaper is also a good source for patterns:

Tip: if any of these patterns are too large scale for the paper fashions, try reducing the size in “options” on the print menu.  (or if you’re slick with photoshop like Michelle then you’ll certainly have a more sophiscated method of reducing the scale of the print).

This lovely ensemble is stylish and comfortable.  Hippy inspired with the tye die tunic top, and understated glitter and bead detail.  Who can argue with boots and bag to match?  Wear this shopping in the most stylish districts of LA or NYC and no worries of a repeat of the Pretty Woman incident!
